The Yuille Campus FLO is built around two main class rooms. The Pod 4 program which supports years 7, 8 and 9 students and the Pod 5 program which caters to years 10, 11 and 12 students. Teachers, Educational Support and our Allied Health team work collaboratively to team teach and give our students a positive educational experience.
At Yuille we offer a wide range of extra programs and supports to help our young people reach their potential through individual, small group, classroom/pod based and whole campus learning experiences.
The Pod 4 program applies a modified Victorian Curriculum to engage students from year 7 through to 9 in their learning journey. The core learning within Pod 4 involves literacy (reading and writing), numeracy, wellbeing and personal development, science, health and physical education. The program also offers a wide range of elective-based programs such as cooking, industry and trade based skills, sport and fitness, ICT and gaming, art and creative learning experiences tailored to student needs. Students in Pod 4 also have access to our award winning Yuille Explorers Program aligned with real world learning experiences.
The Pod 4 program has capacity to support students via multiple teachers, education support, tutor and industry trained staff. Students also have access to a wellbeing support team including a Mental Health Practitioner, schools nurse and school employed occupational therapist and psychologist.
The Pod 5 (years 10, 11 and 12) program delivers the Victorian Pathways Certificate (VPC) curriculum to engage students in their learning. Students engage in the 4 core units of Literacy, Numeracy, Work Related Skills and Personal Development Skills in the context of real world, purposeful learning experiences.
Students are encouraged to find a Vocational Education and Training (VET) course that matches their personalised interests and matches their potential pathways for the future. Students also have the opportunity to create a personalised timetable that meets them at their point of need and allows them to participate successfully in VPC, VET and Structured Workplace Learning (SWL). Students in Pod 5 also have access to our award winning Yuille Explorers Program aligned with real world learning experiences.

The core subjects are imperative to the successful future of the students. The delivery varies however and core subjects are embedded throughout Classroom and Elective opportunities. The students learn the life long skills necessary through areas of interest and while doing so continue to develop their interpersonal skills and to strive to demonstrate active and informed citizenship within society.

Building on Passions
Yuille Campus delivers an individualised approach based on strengths, goals and passions
Students at YPCC 'Yuille Campus FLO' experience learning within the community in which they live regularly. Excursion opportunities are included in the Yuille Explorers Program and include visits to the Melbourne CBD, hardware stores, Lake Wendouree, recreational facilities and any other areas of interest that the staff team in consultation with the students believe will support their goals to be life long learners.
In 2025 some of the experiences offered included surf lessons in Torquay, sailing on Lake Wendouree, visits to markets in Melbourne, the Melbourne Performing Arts Center, rock climbing at CliffHanger and tours of industry and potential pathways such as working farms and Ballarat based business’.
All of these learning experiences held purpose and were embraced by those who had shown responsible choice making and in turn earnt each privilege.

The YPCC 'Yuille Campus' is led by Assistant Principal Beau Guest with carefully planned consultation and support from main campus Principal, Brett Shillito and Assistant Principal, Sam Turner.
We understand that the students who attend YPCC 'Yuille Campus' have experienced challenges in their lives to date and for this reason all students have the privilege of learning with a minimum of two staff members along with support staff, each and every time they participate in a class at 'Yuille Campus.'
We believe that this staffing structure is imperative as we strive to support all student needs and to ensure they reach their full potential academically, socially and emotionally. The structure ensures that students can be supported in the most effective way possible to engage as learners.
